2023 40 Under 40: Danielle Permenter of Orlando Economic Partnership
She was involved in many programs that helped better the Orlando community.

Danielle Permenter has been directly involved in the implementation of a number of programs that are part the Orlando Economic Partnership’s portfolio for talent development and community building.
The vice president for talent and community was involved with a number of programs, including the Black Boardroom Leadership Institute and UpSkill Orlando. She also participated in Leadership Orlando's annual events and the Orlando Economic Partnership’s annual events. She said that the most memorable thing for her was the chance to double her team size and see many of its members progressing in their careers. Building a strong team requires time, discipline, and a lot of communication. My team is flourishing, despite the fact that it wasn't easy.
Permenter, a young professional under the age 39, was selected as one of Orlando Business Journal's 40 Under 40 in 2023. You can read more about the 2023 class in OBJ's weekly edition April 21-27 2023 and online.

What you think people do and what you do actually:
Many people are aware of my role in OEP programs. However, many don't know that I have been overseeing the annual events for the partnership, such as the Denver Leadership Mission and Annual Dinner, along with BBQ in the Park. These events have given me a creative outlet, and I am enjoying learning more about events.
Your ultimate career goals:
I am still trying to figure this out but I think I would be a great chief people officer. I enjoy helping people identify their strengths and creating environments that encourage team success.
How can you overcome feelings of doubt?
Regular self-talk that is positive and reflective. I was fortunate to have been raised by a strong, confident mother who stressed the importance of grace at an early age.
Are you a traditionalist, a disruptor, or both?
Both.
