The owners of Cinnaholic San Antonio say that without the help of Broadway Bank and the SBA program, the business probably wouldn't exist.

Cinnaholic San Antonio is the city's sweet destination. It has popularized its menu of baked goods that are 100% vegan, lactose and dairy-free, cholesterol-free, and egg-free. You wouldn't know if we hadn't told you. These treats are truly amazing.
Nicki Reedy and Ben Reedy started Cinnaholics out of their love of delicious food and their unrelenting sweetness that bit them every night. Sounds familiar?
Amanda Weinand is a Broadway Bank senior vice-president and SBA lending expert. She recalled meeting the Cinnaholic founders. They met Weinand at Broadway Bank in San Antonio, where they struck up a discussion that led to their first startup loan. The Reedys were full of stars when they spoke with the SBA specialist. They made the lender fall in love with the mission, and ate every crumb.
Without the help of Broadway Bank, and the SBA Program, this business would not exist. Ben Reedy stated that they were fortunate to be able use this program to create a fun atmosphere for their employees and guests.
Weinand was the first SBA Loan Specialist to join the Broadway Bank team after 2019. Weinand holds this story close to her heart because of the strong relationship she formed with the Reedys.
"Ben and Nicki's vision was to provide delicious food to the community in a healthier manner. This intrigued me instantly. Their dedication and passion for the community was evident. Weinand stated that they enjoyed establishing a relationship with Ben and Nicki, not only did we help them develop their business plan, complete their space and launch their business but also helped them finish their space. We are more than happy to assist with their expansion as they open their second location at Alamo Ranch.
Nicki Reedy and Ben Reedy were awarded an SBA 7(a), loan to fund construction, equipment, and startup costs in 2019. This funding has helped their business become what it is now, a Small Business Administration success story. Cinnaholic's staff is preparing for the grand-opening of their second Alamo Ranch location. It is clear that the partnership was instrumental in the success of the business. Alamo Ranch will soon be a location that allows San Antonio residents to enjoy their baked goods in both areas of the city.
Weinand stated that Cinnaholic's goals have grown rapidly since the banking relationship was extended to our Commercial Business Banking team. This team was heavily involved in the acquisition of Cinnaholic’s new location and ensures that all their business banking needs are met.
