BEIJING, China (Reuters) – China’s top diplomat Wang Yi “hopes and believe” Germany will support China’s "peaceful reunification” with Taiwan. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said this in a Saturday statement.
Wang made these remarks during a meeting between German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock, who is in China until Saturday. He added that China had once supported Germany’s reunification.
