NEW YORK, NY (AP) - NEW YORK, NY (AP) - MidCap Financial Investment Corporation reported a first quarter net income of $30 million on Tuesday.
The New York-based firm reported a net profit of 46 cents per common share. The adjusted earnings per share, after adjusting for investment gains, were 45 cents.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. Zacks Investment Research surveyed five analysts and the average was 42 cents per share.
The company's revenue in the quarter was $67.8 millions, which also exceeded Street expectations. Zacks surveyed four analysts who expected $65 million.
