AI Employees Fear They Aren't Free to Voice Their Concerns

A group of employees in the artificial-intelligence industry expressed their inability to raise concerns about AI’s impact on humanity due to confidentiality agreements, absence of whistleblower protections, and fear of retaliation. They called for AI companies to establish reporting channels for employees to safely voice concerns both internally and publicly. The employees stated that confidentiality agreements prevent them from discussing these issues openly.
