Chelsea's Omari Kellyman sidelined with hamstring injury

Chelsea’s attacking midfielder, an 18-year-old player, has suffered a hamstring injury. Despite not having made a senior appearance for the team, the player had played three times for the club’s under-21 side. He joined Chelsea from Aston Villa this summer in a £19 million transfer on a six-year contract. In a recent match against RB Leipzig, he scored twice before being shown a red card. The player, who had previously been with Aston Villa’s academy, made his way into the first team in 2023 and has represented England at youth level. Chelsea’s next match is against Bournemouth on September 14.
