A congressional committee investigating campus antisemitism is expanding its inquiry to include Columbia University. The committee is demanding that the university provide a range of documents related to their investigation. The request includes reports on antisemitic incidents, disciplinary actions, records of protests, and communications about antisemitism involving university officials. This investigation comes after a series of troubling incidents on Columbia’s campus, including assaults, harassment, and vandalism. Columbia is the fourth university to be targeted by the committee, alongside Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The university has not yet responded to the request for comment.
