Rally House to open Ross Park Mall store in May
A specialty sports retailer is taking the location of a store that focuses on women's fashions and bedding.

Soft Surroundings has closed its Ross Park Mall store before its six-year anniversary. Rally House, which is rapidly expanding, will be moving in.
The space is located next to J. The upper level of the upscale mall is under construction. A spokesperson for Simon Property Group confirmed that an opening date in mid-May has been tentatively set.
Rally House, a sportswear and merchandise retailer based in Lenexa Kansas, has approximately 10 stores in southwest Pennsylvania. Settlers Ridge is a site that will be opened soon, according to the website.
Rally House has added 40 brick-and-mortar stores in the last two years, which will bring its total up to 140 across 14 different states by 2022. The company said to the Kansas City Business Journal in December that it would be adding 20-30 stores by 2023.
The company claims that no two Rally Houses are the same, since each store carries merchandise tailored and customized to the local collegiate and professional sports teams, as well its own Rally brand.
Soft Surroundings opened its first Pittsburgh location in the fall of 2017. The company is based in St. Louis Missouri and specializes in women's clothing and bedding.
