SEOUL, South Korea - A bus with Israeli tourists on board fell over on its side in the south of South Korea. One woman was killed and 34 others were injured.
On its website, the Interior and Safety Ministry reported that a tour bus carrying 33 Israelis and 2 South Koreans (the bus driver and tour guide) crashed on a hillside in Chungju on Thursday.
Seven of the injured were in serious condition, including a 62 year-old Israeli woman.
According to the ministry, the accident occurred when the driver of the bus was changing gears and the bus rolled in reverse. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation, according to ministry officials.
