US Durable Goods Orders Soared In September By Most In Over 3 Years
...thanks to a 92.5% surge in non-defense aircraft orders.
Preliminary durable goods orders in September rose by 6.0% YoY after two consecutive months of declines.

This is the largest MoM increase since July 2020.
Orders for ex-transports increased just 0.5% from one month to the next, while orders for ex-defense rose 5.8%.
