The CEO of LVMH, Bernard Arnault, said that profits have doubled at the American jeweler, which reopened its flagship store this week.
Bernard Arnault, a young New York tycoon in the 1980s realized that some of the most valuable property was located at the corner of Fifth Avenue & 57th St. He bought the building housing the Louis Vuitton store at the northeast corner and got a good view of Tiffany & Co. to the south.
In a rare, exclusive interview, Mr. Arnault spoke from the newly renovated Tiffany's store's top-floor glass enclosure, where he was able to look out over his domain. He has now three.
